About me

Who is Bobbi Bailey?

I am a photographer based in Yakima, Washington. I am also a Momma of 5 to Nicholas, Nevaeh, Braeden, Matthew & Paisleigh. I am a new Glam-ma to the sweetest little angel Thyra and a wife to the best man I know, Jon. I grew up in a small farm town called Othello, Washington which is about 83 miles away. It was there that I first fell in love with art, especially music & photography.

My Background

I fell in love with the art of photography when I took my first photo in elementary school for the annual "Reflections" contest our school district held. My theme for my photo was "friendship'. The photo I took was black and white and was of two of my classmates perched upon a playground toy we referred to as the "spider". Both girls so full of joy and having the best time made capturing the photo so easy. I matted the photo attaching it to a white background and made a metal plate that said friendship. I ended up winning first place because of that photo and that began my love affair behind the camera.
My inspiration stems from my love for people. Photography is my love affair with people and life. It's my way to make everything around me beautiful. It satisfies my constant need to create and connect with people in ways I otherwise wouldn't be able to. I believe there's a picture around every corner. And it's those unexpected snapshots, the unplanned and in-between moments at shoots that end up creating the most beautiful photos & meaning the most to us.

Starting in 2022 I decided to create a women's empowerment photoshoot, Witches. This session will be recreated every year going forward as a way to empower women to love themselves just as they are!

I, along with another local photographer Jessica Jenkins, took out our gear and created some incredible art with our rendition of "The Purge"! This also, will be recreated every year.
